Electrolyte liquid

Electrolyte liquid helps to balance electrolyte losses from excess sweating or diarrhoea. Electrolyte liquid is used to stabilise water and electrolyte balance in sport horses, foals, and senior horses.
It also contains important minerals and trace elements like sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium. Sodium and potassium stabilise cell pressure. Heavy sweating from heavy work or from work in high temperatures can cause the body to lose electrolytes, as can diarrhoea. On a hot day, a 600 kg horse can lose up to 35 litres of sweat within 5-7 hours. Without compensation, this deficit can result in less energy and poor performance. Because the body cannot store electrolytes, they must be replenished after intensive training, work in hot weather, or during bouts of diarrhoea.
Electrolyte liquid’s high concentration of substances can remedy this deficit and help speed up regeneration. Also enriched with magnesium to support muscle metabolism.
